There could be a variety of reasons you may not be able to view the demos depending on what combination of OS, Web browser and hardware you are using. Please see the suggestions below for ideas on resolving your issue. If you need technical assistance please email: support@elearnatwork.com and we will try to resolve your issue in a timely manner.
You need Flash Player 9 or above to view our demos. This is free software provided by Adobe that allows you to view interactive animations and videos on the Web. To install the latest version, go to this url: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/
Some pop-up blocking software may prohibit the new demo windows from opening.
If you encounter a problem in Internet Explorer, often you can right click on the popup blocker information bar and select “allow pop-ups for this site&rdquou;. Alternatively you can go to Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings and add elearnatwork.com to the list of allowed sites. Or you can select Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.
Firefox has similar options, where you can usually allow pop-ups by clicking on the information bar. Alternatively you can go to Tools > Options > Content > then click the Exceptions button next to Block pop-up windows and enter elearnatwork.com into the list of allowed sites. Or you can simply uncheck the Block pop-up windows in the previous tab.
For the Safari browser select Safari > Block Pop-up Windows to uncheck this item and turn off the pop-up blocker.
If this cannot be resolved by adjusting the size of your browser (click and drag a corner of the window to increase its size), then you may need to make sure your computer screen resolution is at least 800x600.
On machines running Windows you can do this by right clicking on your desktop, selecting Properties, and going to the Settings tab. Alternatively you can go into your computer’s Control Panel and select Display > Settings.
On machines running a Mac OS, you can click on the Apple icon in the left corner and select System Preferences > Hardware > Displays and select a size at or above 800x600.
All our demos require a minimum 800x600 screen resolution.
There is recorded or synthesized sound for all of our demos. In the playbar controls at the bottom of the screen, make sure the demo is not on pause and the Audio On/Off button has not been clicked. Also check the main area of the demo to make sure it is not waiting for a response from you. There may be a caption box indicating that an action is required before continuing. If these items have been checked and you are still unable to hear anything, check your computer’s volume settings. In a Windows machine, go to Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices. On a Mac, click the Apple icon and select System Preferences > Hardware > Sound.
First try clicking on the Play/Pause button in the playbar at the bottom of the screen to make sure the demo has not been paused. If this does not work, it may be because some of our larger demos may require more processing speed. Close the demo popup window (if your browser did not open a new window you may need to click the Back button on your browser instead) and click again on the link to relaunch the demo. If possible close any unneeded applications to maximize your processor speed.
We are in the process of updating many of our demos and will repost them as they become available.
